On March 2, I stopped drinking. On March 13, I started writing poems again for the first time in nearly a decade. Then, along with most Americans, I was asked to stay inside for an indefinite period of time.

In residence, I’ve been writing a lot of poetry.

My work has been described by strangers who come up to me at readings as “I never liked poetry before until I heard your poems.” The Cut crowned me “poet laureate of The Bachelor.”

What you can expect from this newsletter:

  • poems about influencers

  • my thoughts on diet culture

  • so many masks

  • at least one poem about Julianne Moore

  • Anne Frank references

  • an ode to stress cleaning

  • whatever reality TV show I get obsessed with

I’ll send a new poem each Tuesday and Thursday.

Sign up now so you don’t miss the first issue.

In the meantime, tell your friends!
